Visited beautiful Saxon Church in deepest rural Oxfordshire, St Nicholas in Asthall. c1071. Tried out the acoustics...bit like the curates's egg.....possible concert venue tho, with original wall paintings
More Saxon Church singing yesterday at Odda's chapel, Deerhurst in Gloucestershire. Was a remarkable event with walkers joining us at various points and a irate neighbour butting in to tell us to get our intonation right. Meksvaris Simghera went so well I decided to get everyone dancing...super cool.
